[21:21] SUMMER SPORTS DAY

I am known for somewhat spontaneous event planning (21 challenges in 21 months would be a good example). Following with this pattern, I am now planning our first fundraising event, the [21:21] Summer Sports Day. Given the sporting endeavours I’m undertaking over my 21 month journey, I thought it was only apt to start off the fundraising with a sports related event. So I’ve asked my nearest & dearest to dig out their PE kit for some summer fun (rounders, egg & spoon, 3 legged race etc.) And with a treasure hunt & BBQ, it’s going to be pretty special.

Details: Saturday 25th June / 14:00 – 22:00 / Chorlton (Manchester)

The event will also act as the official launch for [21:21]. I will have completed 6 of the 21 challenges, so getting everyone together will be a great launch pad for the rest of the journey.

However, the 25th June is not just the date for our get together, it’s also Armed Forces Day, a day which gives us the opportunity to say thank you & recognise the outstanding contribution the Armed Forces community makes to our fair country. For the official launch of [21:21] fundraising, I don’t think we could have picked a better day.

So if you’re about in Manchester on 25th June, then get in touch and join us for some summer fun-draising! events@2121challenge.co.uk
