Back from the bank holiday

So who would have thought it. If you mix the national holiday of Easter, with a little bit of annual leave, and then sprinkle with a Royal Wedding, bake for 2 hours, you’ll end up with a rather exciting 11 day holiday from work.

The last week has been great for regrouping, rethinking, reenergising, and getting things back on track. Ankle troubles are definitely behind me (touch wood) and I’ve definitely hit the proverbial & literal ground running. All of which is pretty good, especially considering how the next couple of months are going to be pretty interesting – a 10km, a triathlon and then the National 3 Peaks Challenge.

Bring it!

On a side note, I had a very interesting lunch today. Can’t go into details right now, as I need to confirm a couple of pieces, but needless to say, it was the best lunch I’ve had in a while.

PS. I have to say how great the Royal Wedding was – bringing the country together in celebration, brotherhood and unity. I was very proud to be British on that day.
