A game of two halves

It’s a hard life for the 26 year old footballer, who celebrates his £250,000 a week pay deal sipping pink champagne in a pool side bar at the Burj al Arab in Dubai, surrounded by people who are ready to cater to his every whim.

Over in Afghanistan it’s an uncertain life for a 24 year old soldier, who is sipping warm water for not much more than £250 a week, in a hostile country surrounded by people who want to kill him.

The daily grind never fails to astound me.
